Using the guide, manually map your beard by feeling your hair in a circular motion to discover the grain and drawing your beard patterns out on paper. You can fill in each box on the grid drawing to determine the pattern on each portion of your face. Once mapped out, make sure to shave your beard with the grain.
Preparation – Whatever you do, don’t rush into shaving! Make sure to wash your face thoroughly, lather up well, and apply the lather to every inch of your face that you want to shave. This will help you avoid nicks and cuts or having to go over the same patches of skin more times than necessary.
Let the blade do the work – Given you have the right razors, you shouldn’t need to apply any pressure for a good shave. Let the sharp blade remove your hair for a shave that leaves your face in great condition. Pressing the blade too hard can cause irritation and subsequent rashes.
